Snow Witch and Pom by Pirrip Snow Witch and Pom by Pirrip
I have this wonderful story developing in my head about a snow witch and her castle in the snowfields and tundra...

The witch happens to have a dog and can grow him to any size to mount and ride into town, and then shrink again.

No. 2 Pencil

EDIT: I've now started to write the story behind this picture. ^^ The Pom's name is Angelcake.

I remember seeing this when we were having our jam last month! I'm still absolutely amazing at the level of detail that you've put into this. It had to have been quite a bit of work, but the result is very much worth it. Angelcake is particularly well-drawn, too.

want a crit? well.... I think you maybe have messed up a bit on the squares on the bottom, or accidentally gone out of the cone of vision, because the left side squares seem off.

Sure. ^_^ You know, I was a little apprehensive about the prospect of the perspective I wanted with this background...but I took a stab at it anyway. I think I could have avoided any spacing issues with the tiles if I had a larger space to work on, so I could mark both of the focal points that reside far away from the paper's surface since this would technically be a 2-point perspective view.
You're talking about the floor tiles, right?

Yes. I'm trying to learn perspective but I keep getting so confused. I know I can do it cause in high school we were REQUIRED to take an art class (this was before I was drawing) and I made this huge ole castle thing.

but now I look at the concepts and I'm like "so two point perspective can have up to 300 points, it only counts as three point perspective if one point is above or below and off the horizon line, unless it;s a light point because then it doesn't count"

and then my head explodes XD
